Our mission was to make it easy for everyone to participate in outdoor recreation so that there is more inclusiveness and diversity in the outdoors. Pastimes was an outdoor platform for finding partners, skills, gear and deals. I was the Chief Operating Officer.

ANT USA

I was responsible for sales, business development and marketing. ANT USA is a small merchandise analytics firm that acquired my company - Highline Software’s Intellectual Property - specifically to help manage workflow and priorities in a retail environment. Day to day role included: Sales, Implementation and Support.

Started a company that built a retail platform (Inventory, Point Of Sale, CRM, Promotions, Payment Gateway and Analytics) for small to medium size retail businesses. Software was successfully sold to large retailers like BigY and The Vitamin Shoppe as well as several hundred small businesses. The software platform was acquired in 2018 by ANT USA a merchandise analytics software company based in Acton, MA.

Accenture Retail consultant where I was responsible for implementing Workbrain Software solutions at Nassau County, one of the largest State and Local Government organizations in the United States.


Implementation consultant where I managed project teams deploying our Time and Attendance and Scheduling Software. Select clients included: Wal-Mart and Nassua County.

I started my career at Toys “R” Us where for nine years I held various roles that reported directly to the COO. Ultimately my role helped to restructure the company to allow for a leveraged buyout by Bain and KKR.

Since 2009 I have served on the SUNY Fredonia Foundation Board, where I have worked on two capital campaigns that raised 35 million dollars for our endowment. Fredonia is a public liberal arts university located in Western New York, known for their Biology, Chemistry, Music and Theatre Arts programs. During my tenure I have served on the finance and capital committees where I helped to grow the endowment from 13 million dollars to over 40 million dollars.

To raise 35 million dollars our foundation used analytics to help identify alumni that had both the means and the interest in supporting Fredonia. We utilized many different ways to prospect, including phone calls, email, private dinners and social media. I helped to implement a day of giving, which replaced our phonathon leaning heavily on Facebook and Instagram to reach alumni. The event raises ~250K per year, up from 18K per year using the phonathon model, but more importantly it helped to raise awareness and energize students and recent grads.

Responsible for helping the Parent Teacher Association raise money for the benefit of PS 199 and West End Secondary School. I led the technology team that implemented a platform to run online, silent and live auctions. We utilized the platform for multiple fund raising events including walkathons, wine tastings and our annual gala. Annually we raised between $100K and $400K using this technology, ~$800 per child.

Engaged by Concrete Foundation to implement a digital strategy for their hospitality property - Craftsbury Outdoor Center that included the following:


New infrastructure connecting all of the buildings with 4 miles of fiber optic cable to provide superior connectivity for guests, athletes and race timing. The network is a redundant single mode implementation connected to Fortinet switches and Wireless Access Points. Redundant Gigabit Fiber from 2 services providers and Starlink ensure that we have 100% uptime.


Customer Relationship Management (CRM) - built a custom application that supports: Reservations, Meals, Range Access, Membership, Day Passes, Program Registration, Lessons, Classes & Events, Digital Signage and Gear Rentals. The application is used by 90 employees and several thousand members and guests.

New England Nordic Ski Association (NENSA)

The New England Nordic Ski Association (NENSA) is the umbrella organization for Nordic skiing events in the region. They are a member-supported service organization that promotes the culture of cross-country skiing by creating opportunities for youth, athletes, coaches, officials and skiers of all levels.


Highline was engaged by NENSA to help improve member experience without changing their back end CRM tool - NEON CRM. Highline
